What to bring to your Photo Session:

Sports:

Bring all of your gear, as clean as it can be, and a change of clothes. Ladies if you are going to wear make up please be aware of how it will smear during play so I suggest bringing a make up kit and makeup remover. This is Montana as we all know the weather can be unpredictable, bring extra layers. Bug spray and Sunscreen.

Family/ Group Sessions:

We will go over this in the consultation for each family individually, however, depending on the location you might want to bring the following: Snacks & drinks, sunscreen & bug spray, changes of clothes & shoes.

Senior Sessions:

Each senior session is different and during the consultation we will go over all of the details. Common things I suggest to bring are: Snacks & drinks, sunscreen & bug spray, changes of clothes & shoes.

Infant sessions:

Newborns: 0-1 Month old:

Congratulations! Your baby is finally here! After waiting all of this time your baby will only stay this little for a short time. Bring the "keepsakes" This is a box of 1st's outfits, hospital bracelets, and any special gifts received, bring any special props, heirlooms, or mementos that you already have and want included in your session. These can include a favorite blanket, toy, special prop passed down through family, etc.. If you have any cherished items like a childhood toy or a framed picture of a deceased grandparent, and would like to include it in your photos, carry it along.  This box will grow every year adding 1-2 new things for each photo shoot.

For clothing options, it is best to bring 5 or 6 of your favorite outfits to mix match and choose from. (Even though we might only get 2 or 3 clothing changes; but also bag in case of spit ups or leaks.) Your favorite accessories are always welcome! We will spend 5 minutes or so with the wardrobe laid out and create a plan for the whole shoot.

Simple is good. Infants look adorable with little or no clothing.

Attach the diaper a little loosely to avoid lines around your baby’s waist.

Mom, wear clear or neutral nail polish on the day of your shoot. Distracting jewelry should be removed; your baby should be the focus of the photos.

Bring a dark-colored shirt to wear in the photos; we may photograph your baby in your arms and solid/dark colors look great in both color and black-and-white prints.

Watch me grow! 3-4 Month Session:
Your baby is changing by the minute it seems! Make sure not to miss these milestone moments! Understandable we do not go to a professional every 5 minutes; but the milestones matter. At 3 months old your little one can recognize their family and are really showing off the smiles! As a newborn, there is not much interaction, but as they grow your child will become more and more aware of the world around them. Some babies at 3-4 months will be able to have tummy time. We have all of the props needed to make sure tummy time is safe and cute as ever! If you feel like baby is not yet ready for tummy time we most definitely can wait.
